Name: Morga
Canon: The Arcana
Canon Point: Muriel's Route, Book XIV - Temperance
Age: ~60-62
History/Personality: A very sad wiki and a quick sum-up because IT'S SO BAREBONES OTHERWISE?
• Banished Lucio from the Scourgelands shortly after his 18th birthday
• Attacked a tribe known as the Kokhuri some years later because of a famine, caused the deaths of everyone in her own tribe + most of the Kokhuri
• Bummed around on her own
• Lucio dies from the plague/botched ritual, somehow knew about it from who knows where ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
• Three years later her Montag Is Up To No Good senses started tingling, went up to Vesuvia to figure out wtf was going on
• apprenticehashimonamagicbabyleash.jpg
• Bums around the magical realms with Asra + Apprentice until they find him, proceeds to threaten to kill a ghost ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
• Lucio says he's changed, press X to doubt
• okaymaybehesbeinghonest.jpg
• Throws a portrait of herself into the fireplace, PUTS HER ENTIRE FOOT THROUGH ONE OF LUCIO because it was in the way
• goddamn it son made deals with more demons she's too old for this
• Now Lucio's alive
• SOMEHOW WINDS UP GOING TO THE MASQUERADE this perfume room sucks
• Now she's gotta save Lucio from getting his ass kicked by Vulgora smh
• Where'd she go???????
Would you consider your character to be heroic? Why or why not?: Oh, absolutely not. Not only will she kick your ass and her own, she'll also kick the collective ass of everyone around her for the hell of it. She's the main reason why Muriel was sent away from his homeland, having attacked and came very close to wiping his tribe off the face of the planet along with her own purely because she thought it was the only thing to do when her tribe was faced with starvation. Before that, she lead a tribe known as the Scourge of the South and would raid her neighbors and leave nothing but bones behind rather than cooperate to survive in the frozen wilds of the south. Sure, she has plenty of regrets now that 1) she no longer has a tribe and 2) she's older but that doesn't erase the fact that to other people?
She may as well have been the damn boogeyman.
0/10 WORST HERO DO NOT KNIGHT BECAUSE SHE'D PROBABLY DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN GIVEN THE CHANCE even if she has mellowed out over the years
Powers/Abilities:
• Skilled tracker and hunter.
• Able to use some form of magic, though we don't know the full extent. She is familiar with magic itself however.
• Physically resilient to diseases, though whether or not this is pure stubbornness or something magical is up to debate. Seriously, gal caught some early form of the Red Plague and likened it to a summer cold.
• The ability to "see" through the eyes of her eagle. The exact cause of this is unknown, but hey! It's handy for tracking!
Inventory:
• The clothes on her back, including a masquerade mask
• her spear, both used for hunting and combat. Appears to have some sort of ability akin to Mjolnir where it can return to her hand after being dropped/thrown, but it's still just a pointy stick. A very nice stick, but a stick. That can also be set on fire with the above aforementioned magic.
• Basic survival supplies in a traveling bag (think a tinderbox, medicinal herbs for emergencies, etc)
• A spare hunting knife
• (Her eagle, Jaeger, is already there but was left in the care of another player, so she'll simply be reunited with him after discussing it w/ said player! if permitted! )

Information
You know that cold, distant mother you never had? That's Morga and then some. She doesn't hide who she is on the surface, nor is she bothered by those who may or may not take offense to her often harsh and blunt remarks. To her, life isn't about being liked or loved by those around her — it's about being fed, or in the case of her enemies, eaten.
Years ago, Morga was the chief of a tribe known as The Scourge of the South. While other tribes would do their best to befriend one another, the Scourge was the opposite. Under Morga's leadership they would swarm their past neighbors like the plague of voracious beetles that represented their own clan and would leave nothing but bodies, empty villages, and devastation in their wake. Her job was to lead her people to glory both on and off the battlefield, and to keep them safe, fed, and living. Of course she wasn't soft with them either. She isn't in the habit of coddling or protecting people from their own mistakes, save for one teensy tiny little exception; her son and heir. Where she'd gladly let someone stab their own eye out to teach a valuable lesson (maybe don't wave sharp objects around your face?), Morga was the opposite with him. She'd keep him from getting hurt in battle, cover for his mistakes and lies, and effectively spoil the living daylights out of him in her eyes. Big mistake. Eventually this resulted in the mother of all tantrums and ended with the death of her husband (and nearly herself), but instead of taking justice into her own hands she took the opportunity to, in her words, "spoil him one last time" and effectively banished him from their homeland. Some time after this a famine ravaged the Scourgelands and she lost a number of her tribe to an ignoble death far from the battlefield. The Shining Steppe — a territory to the North — had the answer. Fertile land. Food. The only issue was another tribe known as the Kokhuri currently occupied it, so Morga did the only thing she could.
The ensuing battle resulted in heavy losses for both sides. The Kokhuri had won, but at the cost of nearly all of their own people and the Scourge, leaving Morga as the (presumably) sole survivor. Someone had to die. She made a choice.
Underneath the surface is a lifetime of regrets, mostly due to those past actions. In her mind, she failed. Not just her son when she sheltered him from the harsh realities of the world, but herself and the tribe as well. Time has softened her compared to how she was in the Scourge's heyday, but she still keeps people at a distance. Now if one does manage to weather the storm, she actually has the capacity to be gentle...ish. Morga always approached things with those who she was actually "close" to with a sense of tough love, but it was still love in her mind. She's just, uh. Kind of really bad at doing a Real Emotion that isn't disappointment or anger. It's still a work in progress with her, okay?
The sun is too much of a coward to even try.
features physically, she has a small scar next to her left eyebrow that ends under her eye and alongside her nose from an unknow source (probably an old hunting Oopsie or a battle scar), and underneath everything she's got a bunch of other scars from a lifetime of raiding/warmongering/hunting.

Appearance
height ~6'3"
build tall, lean
hair grey (platnium blonde)
eyes grey
first impressions More often than not Morga dresses in what you'd imagine any viking-esque warrior to wear. Browns, greys, etc. are the most common, as well as leather and fur. She wears the pelt of a cheetah around her waist, and with it a long cloak with a heavy fur trim. She's tall, often appears stern and Generally Unimpressed, but don't let her age and grey hair fool you. She'll kick your ass and her own if it comes down to it. She's fairly well built under all of those layers thanks to a lifetime of being a warrior on the move, and definitely doesn't behave like a woman pushing sixty. Usually wears a kohl-like substance on her face in a pattern reminiscent of a cheetah's tear marks, and she wears a black and white beetle brooch (symbolizing her former tribe) on her clothing. Given how pale she is too it's likely she'd turn into a lobster if she spends too long in the sun, but let's be real here:build tall, lean
